Aju Business Reporter Hyun-Joo Park = Sculptor and installation artist Young-Churl Shim (University of Suwon) will hold a solo exhibition at the Jeju Museum of Modern Art from the 14^th.

With the title, the 'Dancing Garden', the 'Garden Series', which has been under work for the past 30 years, will be presented in one place. The works of 'Electronic-Monumental-Secret-Matrix Garden' are re-examined in the form of an interim retrospective.

Shim, who is also famous for 'Mushroom Sculpture', has provided meditation and healing through the infinity and energy of space as well as the cycle structure of nature where yin and yang, creation and extinction are repeated through the 'garden series'. In her new work, 'The Matrix Garden', released in 2012, she expressed the matrix structure of humans and the universe created by countless combinations of reality and fiction.

The artist, who has been constantly changing and innovating, said, "this time at the Jeju Museum of Modern Art, under the title of 'Dancing Garden - Blissful Garden', the color, sound, and unknown shape of the 'universe' that have further evolved have been captured." The exhibition will be open until August 22.
