Young-Churl SHIM's performances have always been played with a group of large scale. About thirty performers with various makeups carrying torches in their hands appear on the stage and make a parade, making a mockery of the ugly images of people in this world and sending the message of salvation. The artist implicitly expresses the birth of the Messiah while performers whose entire bodies are covered with mud symbolize the reality of people through their group performances.
